Developed as a student project by a
team from Domus Academy, the Audi
Panzerspahwagen could be the
newest craze in the ecofriendly SUV
market. The car is being touted as
the next-gen Audi Q7, making
sustainability, speed and robustness
the key components of the car. The
car is designed to be powered by a
plug-in hybrid platform with R10
based twin-turbo 6L bio-diesel V12
TDI diesel engine and four
independent 100KW electric motors

Audi E1
This will be the smallest electric car
in the range and is derived from the
DNA of the Volkswagen NSF. The
architecture of the exterior and
interior of the E1 will be reinvented
though to look different from the VW
Up. Aside from releasing an electric
version, there will also be a series of
gasoline and diesel engines for the
E1.
The Audi E2 will be the sports car of
the family of eco vehicles. This is set
to reflect the VW BlueSport concept
and target the rivalry with the Mazda
MX-5. This will be a combination of
clean fun with a stingy choice of
engines that may range from a 1.2
FSI or 1.2 TDI.

Audi E3
This eco car will be the rebirth of the
A2 of the 1990s. The E3 may highly
depend on the aluminum materials as
its main body component. It will be
based on the efficient design of the
MQB matrix.
Audi E4
The E4 is the resurrection of the
Roadjet. It may be too much but one
can think of the E4 as a bigger E3 that
exemplifies the features of a van
combining it with a Sportback.
Audi E5
This is the future sports car of the
series. Due for development until
2014, the details about this car is very
limited. What is clear about the car is
that it will be aiming for higher fuel
mileage and excellent handling.
Audi aims to mark its 100th year of
existence with a clean bang as it
welcomes its production of the first
range of its eco cars by 2009.

Renault Vitesse
Designed by James Logan, the
“Renault Vitesse” is small, safe and
ecofriendly at the same time. While
the Vitesse would be made using
extremely lightweight hybrid plastic, it
would derive energy from clean
hydrogen fuel cells. It would also be
fitted with unique bike mountings at
the rear end to eliminate any need of
roof racks, which not only look weird
but also spoil the aerodynamics of a
car.
Volkswagen
Splinter
Here is concept car that seems
inspired by the Smart Fortwo, but
instead of a conventional gasoline
engine, this car is to be powered by a
hydrogen fuel-cell counterpart. The
two-seater car has been designed
specifically for the Volkswagen brand
with the radiator grille and boot lid
sporting the brand’s logo. The car
should be perfectly suited for
congested city lanes, where parking
is a major problem
